GoMo Project

Two-thirds of Americans now have smart phones, and that number is growing. Recognizing this trend, Google set out to help all businesses optimize their websites for mobile use, and where better to talk about mobile (lowercase) than Mobile (uppercase), Alabama? The event kicked off with a party at Red Square's offices with workshops held at multiple venues over the next two days. The launch of GoMo was so successful, Google asked Red Square for ideas to take the program on the road.

The creative team came up with multiple concepts for the iconic Google doodle. This idea was then executed in watercolor by local artist Eugenia Foster.

Pitch Ideas for GoMo

The following ideas were pitched to Google as three different ways to take the GoMo concept to other business communities.

This direct mail piece uses augmented reality to engage business owners and show them the importance of a website that is optimized for mobile.
